HPV SCREENING
Individuals from 25 to 69 years old with a cervix can choose to order a kit to self-screen for the human papillomavirus (HPV), the leading cause of cervical cancer. The new cervical screening test is similar to a Pap smear test.
Self screening removes many barriers such as: cultural barriers, history of trauma, the need for transportation, child care and booking time off work.

Effective June 2025 Dr. Mijares will be decreasing her clinic hours which will limit appointment availabilities. Please make sure to book your appointments in advance especially for prescription renewals. If you need an appointment on the days she is not in the clinic we will try our best to fit you in but due to a shortage of available physicians you may be directed to Urgent Primary Care Centre (UPCC).
Nurse Practitioner VICTORIA MAICH PATIENTS
Effective mid June 2025 Nurse Practitioner Victoria Maich will no longer have locum coverage until she returns from her maternity leave on March 2026. If you need an appointment in the interim please contact the clinic and we will try our best to fit you in but due to a shortage of available practitioners you may be directed to Urgent Primary Care Centre (UPCC).
